JRF’s low-income eligibility is based on the student’s estimated household income for the coming school year. Our income guidelines come from the Department of Labor’s Lower Living Standard. The figures below are updated each year by November 1st.
Compare your estimated household income for the 2013 school year with the figures in this chart. For households with more than six members, add $7500 for each additional person.
It is the policy of Jeannette Rankin Women’s Scholarship Fund to make financial awards without regard to race, creed, religion, color, ancestry, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, national origin, or disability.
Please take a moment to view this video application guide. It will answer most (if not all!) of your questions about filling out JRF’s scholarship application. To access closed captions, press the “CC” button in the bottom right corner of the video.
You will need Adobe Reader, or alternative PDF viewer, to print this application. If you have trouble downloading the application, you may wish to try from a different computer on campus, at a friend's house or at a public library.
Keep up with our ongoing work!
